Previous Donations To Equality Now

We thought you might like to see a snapshot of previous events and donations to Equality Now from earlier Can’t Stop The Serenity Events. According to the global site, Des Moines contributions were:

2007:$1,055.00
2008:$ 491.60

I don’t have any details for the 2006 screenings, so Im not sure if Des Moines actually participated or not. 2008 was devastating for the area due to flooding around the state. Many cities were hurt hard, and turnout plus donations were low as a result.

But we are still here, and we are mighty. Please come and support the 2009 Can’t Stop The Serenity Des Moines event on June 20th and show that we are all heroes. Together we can beat not only the 2008 number, but the 2007 number as well.

After all, fans got a movie produced about a canceled TV show. Surely we can raise some money for a good cause.
